If you’re planning an extension or conversion, autumn is a sensible time to get your planning permission and Building Regulations applications submitted. 🏗 Local authority processing times mean that if you apply now, you could have approval in place and be ready to start on site in early spring — a much better time to begin groundworks.

We completed a single-storey rear extension earlier this year — a 6m × 4m kitchen-diner with a flat roof lantern. The original house had a tiny galley kitchen with no natural light. 🏠 From foundations to handover took eleven weeks. The difference in how the family uses the house is noticeable.
